Kings Mountain Art Fair

The Kings Mountain Art Fair takes place at the volunteer fire station over Labor Day weekend each year. The event features artists from all over who set up booths and sell their art and creations, as well as face painting and other fun family activities. The Art Fair also serves as a fundraiser for Kings Mountain Elementary School through the sale of thousands of its famous giant cookies, baked and packaged by the community in a tradition started long ago by KMES families in their own kitchens. Students volunteer for this event, as well clearing trays, recycling, and staffing the popcorn station.
